The election hasn't even been called yet, and the Tory candidate in my riding is already campaigning. Our riding will be very hotly contested: it's in the coveted "905"s, and our Liberal MP is retiring.

There's a discussion going on about whether or not Canadians are generally anti-American . It's pretty much Rob against everyone else (but what's new). I personally haven't seen anything I'd characterize as anti-American. People vehemently oppose current US policies, for sure. But if they were anti-American, I don't think they'd be so warm and welcoming when they learn we are Americans.
