In case you missed it in comments here, Redsock sent this news item, which notes:
The Interior Ministry yesterday identified the two Saudi detainees who died Saturday in Guantanamo Bay as 29-year-old Manie ibn Shaman ibn Turki Al-Habardi Al-Utaibi and 22-year-old Yasser Talal Abdullah Yahya Al-Zahrani, who was detained at the age of 17.
Twenty-two years old, imprisoned at age seventeen. I'm so disgusted and infuriated, I can hardly express my feelings.

This is truly America's eternal shame.

    Here's the problem inherent in insisting on shuffling the deck. You never know for sure what cards you're going to get dealt. And this was a stacked deck, too!

Thanks to ALPF, I have learned that another American war resister is seeking asylum in Canada. I am so out of the loop, lost as I am in the ancient world . Good thing you guys keep me informed. US Army Pvt. Brandon Hughey, 20, told the [Canadian] Immigration and Refugee Board that he refused "to kill people or lose my life under false pretenses."
