Part of my assignment for the new Kids On Wheels magazine is writing serial fiction. I haven't written fiction in many years, and when I did, it was for teenagers; the KOW audience is 8-12 years old. I'm quietly freaking out, wondering how on earth I'm going to meet this challenge. I know I'll come up with something, but will it be anything anyone would ever want to read? ReplyDeleteYay!! Welcome!
ReplyDeleteHey congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky, you managed to get Buster in just a day or two before the ban took effect.
Congratulations! Glad you made it safe and sound. Will you be changing the title of the blog to "we have moved to Canada"? Or perhaps, "we visit the Eaton centre"? And yes, it's a centre, not a center.
ReplyDeleteI have tears on my eyes as I read your first post from Canada... I am so happy for you!

Welcome to town! Let me know when you're ready for some sushi recommendations. :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the other side. Now the journey of settling in begins. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Canada. Too bad you arrive at the same time as Katrina, but it'll get better. I hear the sun does sometimes shine in southern Ontario.

Congrats to both of you!
Wow, thanks everybody!
ReplyDeleteNerves, sushi, taxes, neighbours, Rogers, Katrina - all of it - it's all good. (Well, the taxes aren't so good, but someone's gotta pay for our health care, right?)
:-D
Now Kyle, whatever could you mean? There's no ban on Bennett Avenue Terriers! ;-)
ReplyDelete(COOL!)
